Event description

We have been working with YuGo to develop and deliver a free opportunity for people with additional needs (16+) to develop and grow their sports leadership skills as well as developing understanding around volunteering within sporting environments.

The aim of this course is to introduce key sports leadership skills and support participants on their journey towards volunteering within sports clubs. This will be delivered in an inclusive way, designed for people with additional needs. Through a range of fun practical and classroom-based learning, participants will learn how to:

• Communicate effectively with a diverse audience
• Plan sport and physical activity sessions
• Delivery sport and physical activity sessions
• Manage sport and physical activity sessions

There is no assessment at the end of this workshop.
