Throughout the month of December, up until Christmas, Active Gloucestershire invites the community to take part in a month of movement and excitement. The We Can Move Active Advent aims to inspire individuals of all ages and abilities to prioritise their well-being during the holiday season. This campaign seeks to tackle the sedentary nature often associated with this time of the year and encourage a more active, balanced lifestyle whilst adding fun, engaging and festive elements.
The campaign will feature a variety of different activities tailored to different interests and age groups. From bauble and spoon races to festive walks, the Active Advent offers something for everyone. Participants can expect daily engaging content, enjoyable activities and challenging quizzes and games providing an opportunity to get interactive with friends and family whilst fostering a sense of community spirit.
The Active Advent is set to commence on December 1st and will continue throughout December, ending on December 24th. Participants are encouraged to join in and share their activities by tagging @activegloucestershire and @wecan_move on social media when taking part in the various activities offered.
