Support Across the County
As a place partner with Sport England, we can move enables those with the most to gain from increased activity has the support and resource needed to do so. We apply an approach known as proportionate universalism, where some areas receive a higher level or more targeted degree of support.
Meanwhile, running alongside this ais an equal access offer of support to all areas, these include the following.
Awareness sessions
Community enablement, strengths based and asset-based approaches are hugely successful in galvanising change locally. We can move host a series of awareness sessions throughout the year, that any Gloucestershire based partner or community member can join
Community of learning
We can move is a collection of passionate and knowledgeable partners, changemakers and organisations.
The place-based community of learning enables the we can move place partnerships team the opportunity to share their learning, but also for partners to add and lead these conversations too
(coming autumn 2024)
Whole systems approaches
We know that to make change that we need to work across the system. We can move have tested multiple whole systems, systems mapping and systems dynamics approaches and you can hear more about these on our resources page (link – Deakin report, old systems map report and systems leadership)
