Children & Young People
We want to transform the lives of young people in Gloucestershire. By partnering with schools, sports clubs, and community organisations, we can create spaces where every young person can get active, feel connected, and truly thrive. We believe in listening to their voices and putting their needs first, which is why we’re proud supporters of Play Their Way.
Join us in making a difference.
Active Schools
Schools can embed movement and physical activity throughout their school day to create positive experiences and opportunities for all students.
Our Active Schools projects aim to support schools and delivery partners to connect and learn from one another, sharing best practise and building a culture of physical activity.
For Coaches
Coaches play a crucial role in supporting young people by putting children first and empowering them to express their ideas, opinions, and needs. By actively listening to and valuing their perspectives, coaches can create environments that truly resonate with young athletes.
Learn more about how we support coaches in this mission through the Play Their Way initiative and the Play Their Way Ambassador Programme.
Mental Health & Wellbeing
Mental health plays a key role in a young person’s development, and good mental health is linked to a wide range of positive outcomes in adulthood.
We know the positive benefits that being physically active can have on a young person’s mental health and wellbeing and promoting good mental health through positive experiences forms an integral part of our work.
