Active Gloucestershire is excited to announce the opening of the “We Can Move” community changemaker photography exhibition at Eastgate Shopping Centre, running from Wednesday 17 July to Wednesday 31 July 31 2024.

This inspiring showcase celebrates ten exceptional individuals whose dedication and passion for promoting physical activity have made a significant impact in their communities.

Selected from an overwhelming number of nominations, the finalists represent a diverse array of initiatives aimed at fostering healthier lifestyles and stronger community bonds. The exhibition features powerful photographic portraits by local photographer Emma Dunleavy-Harris, accompanied by narratives that highlight each changemaker’s unique contributions.

The portraits were unveiled at the We Can Move Event which took place at Kingsholm Stadium earlier this year.

Come along to the exhibition to find out more about the finalists and how they support people to get active. Representatives from Active Gloucestershire will also be available to talk to and can tell you more about the project and we can move, Gloucestershire’s social movement supporting people to get active.
