A Conversation: Safe and inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ people
Join Active Gloucestershire for an open, respectful conversation about how we can create more safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces for trans and non-binary people to be physically active in Gloucestershire.

Join Active Gloucestershire for an open, respectful conversation about how we can create more safe, inclusive and welcoming spaces for trans and non-binary people to be physically active in Gloucestershire.
Whether that’s through sport, activity groups, or everyday movement – we want to learn from you and work together to create change.
Who’s it for:
Representatives from the LGBTQ+ community, trans and non-binary led organisations, community clubs, volunteers, allies – anyone passionate about inclusion and wellbeing.
What we will cover:
- What’s already working in Gloucestershire and why?
- What’s needed to make sport and physical activity spaces safer and more accessible?
- Listening to and understanding lived experiences of trans and non-binary people
- How we can collaborate to move things forward?
