  • Challenge 1: Step It Up

    Are you ready to Step It Up? This challenge is for people of all ages to track their steps every day. Walking is a simple yet powerful way to stay fit, and this challenge helps you monitor your progress. Here’s how it works:

    1. Track Your Steps: Use a pedometer, fitness tracker, or smartphone app to count your steps daily.
    2. Log Your Progress: Download and print the attached Step It Up tracking sheet. Each day, record the number of steps you’ve taken.
    3. Set Goals: Aim to increase your daily step count gradually. Set achievable goals and challenge yourself to reach new milestones. Compare your scores with previous months and see the difference!

    Introducing Take 10, a challenge designed to raise awareness about the importance of daily physical activity. The goal is to incorporate at least 10 minutes of physical activity into your day, and track what you did. Here’s how to get started:

    1. Get Active: Engage in any physical activity for at least 10 minutes each day. This can include exercises like jogging, cycling and yoga or even dancing in the kitchen to your favourite songs!
    2. Track Your Activity: Use the attached Take 10 tracking sheet to note down the activities you performed and the duration.
    3. Explore Variety: Try different activities to keep things interesting and find what you enjoy the most. Mixing up your routine can help you stay committed.
    4. Reflect and Improve: At the end of each week, review your activities. Reflect on how they made you feel and identify areas where you can improve or try something new. Use the hashtag #StepItUpWithWCM to share your progress.
