Event description
Active Gloucestershire and we can move are happy to announce a partnership with Activity Alliance and Gloucestershire County Council to support clubs, groups or organisations that support disabled people to be more active via the disability inclusion self-improvement journey support series. The complete series will cover nine modules, three at each workshop. You don’t need to attend all three and can just book the session that you would like most information from, but all three are recommended if possible.
This session will cover the following modules:
- Leadership: Effective leadership that inspires an inclusive culture where your whole organisation considers disabled people’s needs.
- Strategy and Policy: Strategic plans that are sustainable, linking positive outcomes for disabled people to your organisation’s vision.
- Community Engagement: Provide better services by understanding disabled people in your community. Empower more to influence and access your offer.
