We are working together to transform Gloucestershire into a place where being active is the easy choice.
System Leaders
Many of those involved in the movement are system leaders – organisations or individuals that help drive change
Changemakers
We can move changemakers are organisations, clubs, groups, activity providers and individuals that support people to get active in any way, shape or form. They may be physically supporting someone to move through running activity sessions, or by being an advocate in their community.

Activity Providers
Gloucestershire is home to so many different activities whether it’s gymnastics, martial arts, yoga or even those who run activity sessions in their community or local leisure centres. Physical Activity Providers are instructors who offer structured exercise programs to the public. These programs aren’t necessarily sports-related but focus on various intensities and impacts, catering to different audiences.
Sports Clubs
There are so many sports clubs in Gloucestershire including rugby, football, cricket & swimming.
These are supported by their own National Governing Bodies but they are also part of we can move as they aim to support people to get active.
Voluntary and Community Sector
Gloucestershire have a thriving community and voluntary sector, supported by Gloucestershire’s VCS Alliance. This includes charities, centres and community groups.
Many of the we can move changemakers work or volunteer for the sector and they help people get active in a variety of ways.
