Active Gloucestershire are working with NHS Gloucestershire and the community to design and develop a physical activity programme to supports women and birthing people with general wellbeing and improving pelvic health.

Would you like to improve your activity levels and pelvic health?

 

Our gentle exercise classes will gradually introduce you to moving more and building physical activity into your life, as well as connecting with others in your local community!

 

1 in 3 experience pelvic floor issues during or after pregnancy such as:

 

• Leaking wee or poo

• A bulge in the vagina

• Problems with sex

 

70% of those who do pelvic floor exercises during and after pregnancy improve their symptoms.

 

We are launching activity sessions in the following places, and here you’ll find out how you can take part:

Stratford Park Leisure Centre, Tuesday’s 11.00am – 11.45am 

 

The Pulse, Dursley, Thursday’s 11.30am – 12.30apm 

 

Gloucester

Bartongate Children and Family Centre, Monday 10:30 - 11:30am

 

The Lighthouse Children and Family Centre, Friday 11:30 - 12:30pm
