Bredons Norton
Duration: 7 km (4.4 mi); 2 hours 10 minutes

Facilities: Village church, pubs (e.g. The Royal Oak), village shop, and the local hall; limited facilities on route

Coombe Hill Nature Reserve
Duration: 4.5 km, 1.5–2 hours
Access: Towpath is mostly level but can be bumpy, muddy or rutted, especially after rain. Best accessed by walkers and well-equipped pushchairs; not fully suitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters in wet conditions
Terrain: Flat canal towpath transitioning to wet grassland and meadow trails. The boardwalk to the Grundon bird hide overlooks rich wetland habitat
Facilities: Small free car park, bird hide (Grundon Hide), benches, and information signage. No toilets or cafés on site but available at local pub
Transport: Narrow lane off A38 leads to the reserve car park, nearest bus stop in Tewkesbury Road, cycle path along A38
Deerhurst Circular
Duration: 5.0 km, 1 hour 10 minutes
Access: Suitable for pushchairs; mostly level riverside and field paths with some stiles—ambulant-only access in places
Terrain: Flat riverside towpath, meadow footpaths and green lanes—some churchyard or stiles crossing fields
Facilities: Small car park at Odda’s Chapel, St Mary’s Priory Church, cattle-grazed fields, please keep dogs on leads
Transport: Limited parking at Odda’s Chapel; walk or cycle from Tewkesbury town centre
Uckinghall Circular
Duration: 3.5 km, 45 minutes
Access: Easy route, suitable for most walkers; not ideal for wheelchairs or mobility scooters due to narrow lanes and occasional uneven surfaces
Terrain: Primarily level country lanes and grassy field paths, with some moderate undulations and occasional farm tracks
Facilities: Trail begins/ends near Uckinghall village. Minimal facilities onsite; nearest amenities in Tewkesbury town centre, including cafés, toilets, and shops
Transport: Roadside parking available in Uckinghall village, nearest bus stop in Deerhurst or Tewkesbury; 30-minute walk to the trailhead, quiet rural lanes suitable for cycling from Tewkesbury
Alderton Hill
Duration: 10km, 4 hours
Access: Includes field stiles, farm lanes, and potentially uneven paths so may be difficult for some wheelchair users
Terrain: Cotswold ridge walking along footpaths and tracks, with sections through farmland and hill slopes
Facilities: Village church, pub (Gardeners Arms), limited shops
Transport: Park at Gardeners Arms pub or on street; limited local bus service via Winchcombe or Cheltenham; walking or cycling recommended
