Join us for the first Live Longer Better Gloucestershire partnership meeting.
Our population is ageing, and that is a huge cause for celebration. But we often hear of the age-related issues society is facing, we want to see a county where collectively we overcome some of these challenges, where healthy life expectancy increases and where we can all Live Longer, Better – using physical activity and movement as an evidence based solution.
This session will cover:
- What the Live Longer Better national programme is
- The three R’s (regain confidence and purpose, recover strength, stamina and suppleness, recondition the body after disease or lack of activity)
- Ageism
- Our county (system and opportunities)
- What’s next
