Active Gloucestershire have teamed up with national charity Sense, to offer this valuable training opportunity to all members of the Gloucestershire Active Inclusion Network.
The virtual workshop has been designed for people who are interested in engaging people with sensory impairments and complex disabilities in sport or physical activities.
It offers a mixture of theory, learning and practical activities focusing on sensory and complex disability impairment types, barriers to participation, communication styles and useful adaptations.
Workshop Date: Wednesday 29th September 2021, 6pm - 8.30pm
Where: Virtually via Zoom - a link will be sent once booked
Cost: The workshop is free - all costs are covered by Active Gloucestershire
This workshop is suitable for sports coaches, sports instructors, leisure staff including front of house, sports volunteers or anyone else who would like to engage people with sensory or complex disabilities in sport.
Accreditation & Certificate
The workshop is accredited by CIMSPA. All those who attend will receive 3 CIMSPA CPD points and a certificate of attendance.
