Event description

Raising sustainable funding for your charity or community group can feel like an endless slog, with multiple hoops to jump through and lots of disappointment.

This interactive session, which will be delivered online, is designed to help you overcome some of those challenges, with a focus on the fundraising essentials, to ensure any small club, group or charity can establish an effective funding programme - providing vital income for your cause.

In two hours, you will receive an introduction to two essential areas of fundraising. These include grant funding which can unlock large, multi-year funding and also raising funds from the general public, which is a good way to access unrestricted income for sustainability.

On this course you will learn:

  • Introduction to fundraising in 2022 – how are things now?
  • Grant Funding – with a focus on eligibility and case for support
  • Public Fundraising from individuals – with a focus on crowdfunding

Level: This course is designed for any organisation or individual looking to improve their knowledge of the basics.

We encourage attendees to share examples of their work: what's gone well for them, and what hasn't. Please come prepared to discuss and share stories in confidence.

Please note: Due to limited spaces please only request 1 booking per organisation.

This course is hosted and provided by we can move and our expert guest, Laura Salisbury, will deliver and facilitate the session.
