Event description

If your work or volunteering involves working with, supporting or encouraging older people across Gloucestershire to move and be active in a way that works for them and you would like to be involved in connecting with other organisations, hearing latest updates and seeing how we can work together to make Gloucestershire and active, connected and healthy county to grow old in then this network is for you.

Agenda to include:

• Updates from Active Gloucestershire
• Sharing session (opportunity to ask the group for advice and share updates)
• Networking
• What is important and what is needed to enable active ageing across Gloucestershire workshop session
• Strengths based session

Our autumn network will be held face to face, with a winter session later in the year to be held online. We know that whilst lots of people are looking forward to connecting, that many of us still enjoy taking additional precautions. We have a large space booked and would encourage that although not a legal requirement that social distancing and face coverings are considered in crowded spaces and whilst moving around by all in attendance to create a comfortable experience for all. Please do not attend should you be showing any signs or symptoms of Covid-19. A full risk assessment will be sent to attendees in advance of the session.

With space limited we request that each group or organisation only sends a maximum of two representatives.
